- How much is my scrap car worth?
- Scrap vehicles are paid by weight, so the value depends on what the vehicle weighs rather than what it looks like. We pay a set rate per tonne and we pay more again for anything that still starts and drives, because a good engine and gearbox is worth more to us than the metal. Ring us with the registration and we will give you a figure on the phone.
- Do you collect, and does it cost anything?
- Collection is free anywhere within 40 miles of Rochdale, which covers Greater Manchester, most of Lancashire and into West Yorkshire. You are also welcome to deliver the vehicle in to the yard yourself.
- When do I get paid?
- The same day. Payment is by instant bank transfer once the vehicle is collected or delivered in. We do not pay by cheque and we do not pay cash, because paying for scrap metal in cash has been illegal since 2013.
